Validation. Credibility. Grammy nominated singer. The world has changed tonight.

A guy from American Idol - a guy who LOST, who had to fight for radio play, who gets horrible comments - a guy who fought for years for recognition. This guy. And he gets this nomination. It's almost too much to take.

And I'm trying to work this out. Tomorrow morning, when he does whatever he's doing in Paris, it'll be about the nomination, and how he feels. And his name will be all over the press, and they will for sure review his EP because he has the STATURE for this.

This is Adam transcending prejudice and stigma and autotuning on the wings of his glorious voice. This the music industry saying that they noticed and they approve.

This is Adam returning in triumph from an unprecedented tour. This is Adam being undeniably a star - and on his way to being a superstar.

This is success by all standards. It's being recognized by his peers - his true peers - and those who run his industry.

This is validation and recognition and it's something they'll never take away from him. This is a victory all by itself.
