#Vancouver, please send @Translink a message and stop the terrible translink farecard name finalists! They are Tpass, Compass and Starfish. They don't represent our culture at all! Please go to http://goo.gl/ZMvbY and submit a complaint either with the message below or with your own.

The names you have chosen for your farecard are horrible. Please, consider what you are locking yourself into! This farecard, as you say, is replacing all existing fares today. You have to pick a name that engages the population of Vancouver! Tpass is just a sad miss. Everyone knows that is the Translink pass! Compass is just boring. What does it have to do with Vancouver? Our farecard needs to represent our culture! Starfish is getting closer, but something like George would be a better idea, because it represents something about our cities history! Look at other places farecards, Oyster in London, Octopus in Hong Kong, Clipper, Myki, Charliecard, Nicepass, all fun, creative names that are catchy and easy to remember.
We can't let something this important fail from the start! A name like Tpass or Compass won't engage the population.
