Paul Hawken “Obama Moment” on energy: No point in ginning up new sources of energy to run inefficient system. Like putting bio-diesel in a Hummer. Change the car first, or in our case, change the catabolic thermal industrial system so that it sips instead of gulps. Of course we have to do both, but one without the other is ineffective in terms of decarbonization and supply stability. You need two feet to walk, and you need to go at supply and demand at the same time.
