Wyvernwood Apts: A two billion dollar redevelopment deal, backed by CRA, and other money.
The property is currently in default and possibly in foreclosure.
Don't know, for sure, if it's in foreclosure.
Public records show they're trying to negotiate the default with lender.
This also means they were probably waiting for the $930 million to go through, as soon as possible.
But the work of others in the community, prevented that from happening, due to good citizens that exposed the CRA, along with pressure from the public.
Now, tey don't know where to get the money to save the property. PLUS, imagine how many pay-for-play investors they pissed off with the CRA stalling -- and Gov Jerry Brown now threatening to cut out the funds?
Dalila Sotelo sits on the Board as V.P. of a non profit called Amigo de Siqueiros in Downtown L.A..
