@Vyom1980 Pl carefully read this tw and RT so that #AnnaHazare calls off his indefinite fast RIGHT NOW. This #JanLokPal is a great moment that would ensure the great movement to succeed.
I have authored a book on UNCAC, so pl take it that I am talking with knowledge on this subject.
1. Get GoI to issue a notification to ratify UNCAC today, repeat today.
2. I sent a note to Dr. Swamy today: I with many at Kodai, the entire staff of a village school nearby, will all be fasting tomorrow between 6AM & 6PM. At this moment I want to bring to your attention the need to ratify UNCAC by GoI that has been kept in abeyance. Article 13 Participation of Society would ensure that Society is included before major decisions are made. Article 6 - Preventive anti-corruption body or bodies & Article 8 - Codes of Conduct for Public Officials would ensure independence and control aspects, Article 9 - Public Procurement and Management of Public Finances would come under the purview of Article 10 - Public Reporting that corruption can be eradicated altogether. UNCAC is the most powerful tool given to the Society, far superior to Freedom of Speech and RTI, that would make the efforts as you have been fighting much easier by preventing corruption rather than fighting it.
3. UNCAC is so powerful and empowers People much more than, repeat much more than what #JanLokPal is asking for.
4. Let respected Anna Hazare call of his indefinite fast, once GoI complies with a notification ratifying the Treaty of UNCAC for which India is a signatory since 2003. He is very precious.
