.@bringing_chaos Whew! Gotta go to twitlonger! Anyway, over the past few nights they'd been coming and going at all hours of the night. 4:30 one morning, 2 the next, etc. They'd amble slowly to and from their cars, talking loudly, laughing loudly, honking their horns at each other, completely self-centered without thinking they could be disturbing anyone else. I know for a fact the people who live below me have small children. I'm sure they were NOT happy. I can't imagine what the people in their building were going through.

Last night, starting around 1 am they were loud again. I couldn't tell at the time if they were on their balcony or in the parking lot. Obviously they took their noise to the parking lot (I saw no fewer than 15-20 people leaving last night at 3:30) but the sound echoes around the area and we have single-pane windows here so I could hear everything.

It died down a little around 2...I guess that was the first time the cops came. It got loud again shortly after and went on until almost 4 or so. That's when I got up and saw people beginning to leave and there was a squad car sitting outside their building.

Of course, they were parked in the usually-vacant lot that runs alongside my building, so while the cops were writing up the residents, their buddies were still being loud outside my window right beside my building before they finally left.

I know it's finals week for the colleges around here, and I know yesterday was Cinco de Mayo so they were probably partying for that too, but that's no excuse.

Congrats to them and their friends...they now have to find a new place to party, and I am glad it'll go on their record which will harm them when they're scrambling for a new apartment. I just hope that they're told to use this weekend to GET OUT and they have to be gone by Monday. I don't care if they still have finals to get through. They need to be gone.

I don't want to think of what they might put us through when they "have nothing to lose" and decide to use their time to party some more.

I'll be sure to get pics when I see a moving van out there. ;)
