I have been given video showing the deaths of the Tripoli freedom fighters, whose funerals sparked thousands on the street of Soug Al Jomaa in protest against the regime. The protests were on the 30th May. The deaths were on the 29th.

The video is very graphic, and shows the behaviour of the Katiba forces in Tripoli. The video is clearly that which it purports to be as you can see clearly the faces of the now well known martyrs, in their final moments.

I apologise if this video is offensive, but with the permission of the family, we have decided to distribute it.

For full appreciation of the video you will need translation of what the Katiba forces are saying. I will leave you to get official, verified translations. From what is said, it is clear that the attack by the Katiba forces (loyal to gaddafi) was revenge-driven for an earlier ambush by the freedom fighters which saw the katiba suffer significant losses.
