A track-by-track review of David Cook's "This Loud Morning" by @BrokenRecordMag.

[Note: @BrokenRecordMag apparently was given a streaming copy of TLM by the label to prepare them for an interview with David. This is their play-by-play (Yes, the person tweeted WHILE listening to the album, so this is fresh, 1st-listen commentary).]

@thedavidcook 's Circadia is an epic tune. Lush choruses and great instrumentation

@thedavidcook 's Right Here with you is very Papa Roach-esque! Imagine Cook singing PR's "Scars". Similiar vein. Regardless, big hit?

"We Believe" could be a second single Monster power ballad. If "Heroes" could be on commercials, then "We Believe" is ready for soundtracks

@DavidRocks08 I know. Listen, If I could share this with the world, I would. Just trust me, the album is what you guys are waiting for

So far, it's as good if not better than your expectations.

"Fade Into Me" will make you say, Alicia Keys who? It's a mid tempo ballad that will be the official baby making song for you guys

#nowlisteningto Hard To Believe.

So far 5 tunes in...it's very Analog Heart. It's really raw and emotional! Great album so far

"Hard To Believe" is similar vein to Searchlights. This is what caught my attention to link the album thus far to Analog. Brilliant

I'm sure most of you know Take Me As I am..so no comment needed there.

Nice to hear a real studio version of Time Marches On. Love the instrumentation. Great 80's vibe!

Who knew Cook had a falsetto like this. Beat that Timberlake..jk

Ok..I'll give you TMAIA right after TMO

@CircadianREM But you haven't heard it like this! [On David's falsetto in TMO]

I need to listen to TMO again...for the lyrics. I need to see if it's a positive lyrics. I may have an idea. Don't ask yet...

OK Nevermind about my TMO idea.

So "Take Me As I Am" is as emotionally raw as Cook has ever been. or at least so far into the album. Brilliant string arrangements.

The album is really easy to listen to. You can easily sing along on the second listen

Now Listening to Paper Heart. I skipped "The Last Goodbye". No need to review that

So the previews you all heard of Paper Heart don't do it justice. Yes the hook is catchy but the whole song is as deep as an ocean!

Now LIstening to Love is a 4 Letter Word

Who thinks a Daughtry Cook collabo would rock? Or a Tour?

Love Is A 4 Letter Word is big. But what other 4 letter word could love be? That;s what I asked myself the entire time.

4 Letter Word is the reason I brought up Daughtry Cook collab. Lyrically, this song is very similar to each other. Brilliant

Now listening to Goodbye To The Girl

I feel bad for a Cook and/or his songwriters. If the best songs come from real life, they've all had their hearts torn apart

@fakeplasticstar No. It's far more upbeat. Everything is pretty much mid tempo or slow. [On whether The Last Goodbye fits in well with the rest of the album.]

No listening to the final track Rapid Eye Movement

REM=awesome far. Heavy guitars..about time!

@rawanthem a brilliant tune. But damn..their hears have tons of cracks [On Goodbye To The Girl]

#mattserletic is a production god! How did he do some of these things

REM= easily the heaviest tune. Saved the biggest for the end. A solid rock song

Album complete

I'm going to write my overall on brokenrecordsonline.com . I'll tweet it over

BTW, We love you all. That you all for starting you day with us. It was truly a pleasure "listening" to the new album with you all.

I felt I was sitting with each and every one of you
