LA TIMES ON REPORT BUSTING CalPERS on CORRUPTION: The review found support for allegations of corruption, bribery and influence peddling at the country's biggest public pension fund, but some lawyers and financial experts familiar with the scandal said they were surprised by the large legal fees. [ZD" EXCUSE ME. I agree the report is outrageously over-priced in a crony-sweetheart deal. But L.A. Times is only reporting on the report...HOW ABOUT COVERING THE CORRUPTION THAT WAS UNCOVERED IN THE REPORT!?!?! DOH! (So the whole article is a smoke-screen/diversion tactic to take focus off the REAL ISSUE -- RAMPANT CORRUPTION with the CALIFORNIA PENSION SYSTEM. The people running the rackets are from Los Angeles, and are all longtime associates of people like Gloria Molina, Richard Alatorre and Antonio Villaragiosa. I've blogged ALL the "connect-the-dots." (See "History of Pension Fraud" link on right side of this blog under, "Featured Pages.") THESE PEOPLE ARE FUNNELING THE STATE MONEY FOR STATE SERVICES AND SALARIES TO EACH OTHER BY THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS. It's the BIGGEST caper of the century. And someday a blogger or talk radio host, other than Zuma Dogg will utter a word on the topic.
