#WETHEPEOPLE #WTPTAR #Compassion is a great value and sentiment. Helping people in need is a virtue. The Problem is that when the Benefactor is the Government, the Bastard Politicians use material compassion to control, manipulate, frighten, terrorize and extort WE THE PEOPLE. It is better that we each struggle greatly with the adversities in life than be enslaved by welfare and entitlements.

Necessity is the Mother of invention and Endeavoring to Persevere over adversity is the mother of great character.

Long term material Compassion for those who cannot care for themselves is mandatory for a Society of Great Character.

Short term material Compassion for those temporarily overwhelmed by adversity is also mandatory for a Society of Great Character.

The challenge is to preserve the liberty of the greater Society as a whole while being sufficiently materially compassionate to those with bonafide need for material assistance.

Intangible, non-material compassion in the form of reassurance, comforting and encouragement should always be given unselfishly as the need arises.
