Breaking: Sources: Broncos DT Marcus Thomas'pectoral injury is,"a little more serious than a strain." For proper precaution he should miss at least the remainder of the preseason with the information garnered at this point, however, the team will continuously monitor his status. The good news is, as things stand now, his pectoral injury has the ability to heal on it's own with proper treatment, patience, and time for recovery. The important thing is that the Broncos don't rush Marcus Thomas back too soon so his injury doesn't digress. The team will keep an eye on the flexibility and strength of the reparative tissue that will develop in the pectoral region. The healing process is of course individual. Another medical opinion will more than likely be sought for further evaluation and to eye his progress.
