Last thing I'll say on Teemu/Winny: I'm a NJ Nets fan. They move to Brooklyn. Let's say the Hornets move to NJ, are re-named the Nets. I don't want the fans or the franchise to pretend that Buck Williams and Drazen Petrovic and Jason Kidd are part of that new team's legacy. I get that others have, like the Browns and the Ravens. I just don't agree with it.
New team, fresh start; none of this would be an issue if ownership hadn't bowed to pressure and called them The Moose instead. For the fans saying this is about Winnipeg hockey, this isn't directed at you. It's about the fans saying "once a Jet, always a Jet," when those Jets are in Phoenix.
