20 thousand Copts submitted applications to allow them to enter Israel and visit Jerusalem during the Coptic Easter.
(18 thousand Copts have a permit to enter Israel.)
The applications were rejected by the Orthodox Church 'Saint Helena' in Jerusalem coz of its adherence to the Pope's (Shenouda III) decision, which prevents Copts from visiting Jerusalem... "due to Israeli occupation!..."
