CHAPTER 2 PART 2
After 30 minuets of playing in the mud, Paul the unhappy waiter, called us over so he could take our orders. Madison again pulled my chair out for me, then went to sit down in his own seat.
“I’ll have some mac-n-cheese…” I say plainly. But, I can tell by the expression on Madison’s face that he’s trying hard not to burst out laughing at my childish order. I just roll my eyes and smile I at him.
“I’ll have a burger.” he said, staring at me. Paul just nodded and walked away, mumbling something to himself.
“Oh, here’s your phone.” he said as he passed me my blackberry.
“thanks…” I said and smiled at him.
The rest of our date passed by pretty normally, we ate, laughed, I chased him a few more times and we went home. I didn’t remember much of the ride home because I was so tired from chasing him around, once we got in the car I quickly passed out on his shoulder. When we got to the hotel it was 2 am. Thankfully, the Boyz had a day off today.
“Come on, I’ll carry you to your room.” Madison whispered in my ear, his breath was warm and tickled my neck.
“No, no, its okay, I can carry…take…walk….whatever you want to call it, I can go upstairs by myself.” I said as I stumbled to get in the elevator. Madison rolled his eyes, and picked me up princess style. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Your so drunk.” he says laughing. I join in and laugh with him. His laugh was perfect, smooth and silvery. We got to the 12th floor and he walked me to my door.
“Thanks for the date, I had a lot off fun…especially in the mud.” I say with a sweet smile. I lean in and kiss his soft cheek softly then whisper a goodnight in his ear and unlock the door to my hotel room. Once I got inside I sighed and leaned agenst the door. After repeating the scene about 40,000 times, I walked into the bathroom and decided to take a shower.
*the next morning*
“MARIA! WAKE UP!” someone said. I just groaned and put my pillow over my head. And whoever was telling me to wake suddenly decided to start jumping on my bed. “MARIA, MADISON’S WATCHING YOU SLEEP!” the voice yelled. I quickly sat up in the queen sized hotel bed. “what?” I said as I looked around the room for Madison’s face. I realized that Julia was the one jumping on my bed and telling me to wake up, and that Madison wasn’t watching me sleep.
Julia laughed her sparkling laugh. “Well, that woke you up fast.”
“shut up.” I say as I throw a pillow at her face. She dodges it easily and I pick up another one, but instead of hitting Julia’s face, it hits Nikki’s.
“Maria! What was that for?”
“Sorry! I tried hitting Julia!” I say loudly, trying to defend myself. Nikki hits me on the head with the pillow and continues to walk to the bathroom.
“harsh.” I say while rubbing my head.
“so, you need to give me every detail about your date with Madison! EVERY detail, Maria! don’t leave anything out!” Julia says with a squeal. Suddenly Nikki pokes her head out the bathroom door. “You went on a date with Madison? And you didn’t tell me?” she asks as she comes out of the bathroom to hit me on the head a second time. I rubbed my head and sighed.
“I didn’t know he was going to ask me out! I thought I was meeting the ICONiacz like last time!” I said defensively.
“Whatever.” Nikki said, and walked back into the bathroom to get ready for breakfast.
“God, your so lucky! I wish Jason would ask me out…” she said in a quiet whisper. I don’t know why Jason hasn’t asked her out yet, they were best friends and everyone knew it, plus, Julia was one of the prettiest girls I’ve ever seen. I sighed again.
“don’t worry, Julia, he will.” I say, and with that I threw a pillow at her head (and this time I didn’t miss! Take that Julia!) and I got up off the bed and walked over to my suitcase and got out a jade green crop top, an Abercrombie white tank top, and my dark blue shorts. I walked over to the bathroom door and knocked as loud as I could. “Nikki! Hurry up!” I yelled loud enough for her to here me over the sink’s running water. Suddenly I heard a knock on our door. I opened the door to find a bouquet of red roses on the floor with a box a chocolates. I looked at the tag on the roses and they were addressed to Julia, and the box of chocolates to Nikki. I walked back into our comfy hotel room and knocked on the bathroom door. Jesus! If Nikki doesn’t hurry up, I swear I’m going to break down this door with my incredibly awesome, super, ninja’s in Paris ninja moves! I thought to myself.
“Nikki, child! You have a box of yummy squares waiting for you!” I called out in the best GRANDma voice I could imitate. Nikki opened the door and I shoved the box of chocolates in her hand, holding Julia’s bouquet flowers in my other hand. Suddenly, Nikki’s mouth dropped and she froze.
“This…is from Nick.” she said in a slow, quiet voice. I gasped. Then I hugged her, accidentally hitting her chin while I put my arm around her neck.
“Oh. My- oh, sorry. Oh. My. God! He likes you! Nick Mara likes you!” I scream out of pure joy. Julia came running in the room and she froze, then looked at the box of chocolates, then Nikki, then the chocolates, then Nikki, then she finally decided to her Nikki.
“Oh My Gosh! I’m so happy for you!” Julia said smiling. Nikki’s beautiful smile was so happy and so radiant, I couldn’t help but smile at her. Then I remembered the flowers in my hand.
“Ju-Bear, these are for you!” I saym using the embarrassing nickname Nikki and I gave her. She paused, deciding whether she should take them or not, but finally decided to take them. She read the little white paper that was tied around one of the rose stems. As soon as she finished reading her face turned white.
“Jason?” Nikki an I asked simultaneously. She nodded, then fell back onto the bed.
“oooooh! Ju-Bear has a crush!” I said smiling. “Julia and Jason sittin’ in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G-” I started to sing but before I could finish a pillow was thrown at my face. RING. RING. RING. The phone rang and I picked up.
“Hello?”
“Maria? Is Julia there?” Jason’s sweet voice asked from the other side of the line. I smiled and turned to face Julia.
“uh, Julia? Yeah, she’s here. Want to talk to her?” I asked, trying hard not to hold back the giggles.
“Yeah, can you hand her the phone?” he asked. I handed Julia the phone and giggled.
“Hello? Jason?”
“uh, hi Julia.”
“hi!”
“did you get the flowers?” he asked nervously, its an invasion of privacy to be listening in to Julia and Jason’s conversation but Nikki and I just couldn’t help it.
“Yeah, I did. They were beautiful, thank you!” Julia said happily into the phone.
“No problem. So I was wondering…um…Julia, do you want to go out with me tonight?”

hey ICONiacz and GRANDers! hope you like this chapter! lots of cliffhangers! will Julia say yes? will Nikki go out with Nick? WILL I EVER GET MARRIED TO MADISON? hmmmm i can answer every question with a yes exept for the first 2 questions XD 4 RT's and ill post Chapter 3 tonight! :)
