I wanted to put in a good word for the Grass Farm workers today. They were working at the Kalana site on 3/16, all present and accounted for since 4-5a. I have gotten to know them in the last month or so. They are as upset as anyone about Sierra's disappearance. They watched her walk -- or run, as she was often late -- to the bus each morning. They gave her a nickname even, "Nana." Sierra was a part of their daily routine, and when she disappeared, they knew immediately who she was and were devastated by her loss.

LE has not exactly been kind to them throughout this process, I'm sad to say. They are our good neighbors too, and we have welcomed them into our homes and on the neighborhood website. Some of them have even been living there as long as I have.
