No one should try to silence others for speaking their mind/opinions. This is a right our forefathers/Founders saw as important. They put it into the First Amendment to the US Constitution. To abridge that right is unAMERICAN whether by persuasion, slander, boycott, mockery, defamation, or marginalizing or by any other means. If free speech is not honored among friends or enemies that person is opposing our nations founding principles and the author of those inalienable rights.
