It seems that we have heard this before, quoting Adam, "The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate it" (Gen. 3: 12). You would have at least thought that Benny would have been smart enough not to have used that line. But, then again, what can we expect?
Excuses! Excuses! Excuses! "But they all alike began to make excuses" (Lk. 14: 7). Now, we blame Suzanne for being a drug user and now we want to give her another excuse that she is possessed with demons. What nonsense! The problem here is sin. She's married to a man who cares more about money and his reputation than he has for his wife. He's supposed to be a "pastor" or "evangelist" and he has neglected his wife and family and has given other people the idea that he has been victimized by a drug addicted wife or possessed woman. What nonsense!
So, let's put some blame and responsibility for "the husband" who is supposed to be the "head" of his family making sure that they are getting the spiritual leadership (Eph. 5: 23). I have compassion for his wife and children because they just don't really fit into "the big show" but "the woman whom you gave me caused me to do this".
No, there is no escaping Benny's irresponsible neglect of his wife and family who cannot live with an "adulterer" who uses her as his excuse for sin. It's so easy to look back over 15 years of neglect and someone who has replaced the love of his wife with the "love of money". Here the victim becomes the excuse for sin.
"But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced their hearts with many pangs" (1 Tim. 6: 9 - 10). Let the blame fall where it is supposed to fall - upon Benny with his love of money. And, let's look at the victims of his sin: both his family and those who have been deceived for accepting his love of money as the goal of the Christian Life.

There’s an update from Benny Hinn this morning about his reconciliation with his ex-wife Suzanne.
As Bene D explained in his recent post, we’ve been hearing only from Benny so far about all this. That seems to be continuing in the new release.
Benny confesses, in one paragraph, about letting his ministry work dominate to the point where he neglected his marriage. Three paragraphs are devoted to Suzanne’s addiction to prescription medicatiosn and how it led to the divorce.
He had better be confident of her forgiveness if he dwells so much on her part in all this.
And, in something that will not surprise, he adds this:
But we must have your help. The ministry has suffered financially greatly because of the struggles in our marriage. We are beginning to see an upsurge now, but we truly need a miracle to be able to do what God has called us to do.

I wonder if Benny and Suzanne had to come to some kind of arrangement. Where years of controversy couldn’t take out Hinn, hios divorce was threatening to.
JOHN ARNOTT , RODNEY HOWARD BROWNE AND BENNY HINN
"The influence of heretical "Word of Faith" teacher Benny Hinn over the Vineyard Movement is shown to be deep, long standing and significant. John Arnott, pastor of the Toronto Vineyard, admits to having been a friend of Benny Hinn for 20 years and that he has been a leading figure in shaping his view of divine healing and anointing (p.245).
On June 29, 1994, in Rockville Centre, L.I., John Arnott spoke on many of the different origins of the outpouring that came to be known as the "Toronto Blessing." He and his wife, Carol, had spent much of 1993 and the beginning of January 1994 seeking the Lord for a fresh anointing. They spent all of their mornings with Him. They had been powerfully impacted many years previously by Kathryn Kuhlman, and then more recently, by John Wimber, "who really taught us that the anointing was available for everyone and in the context of team ministry things could be much improved [John Arnott to Richard Riss, Sept. 19, 1994]." The Arnotts were friends of Benny Hinn, who also had an impact upon them. But these things tended to be mountain-top experiences, and they wanted something from God that would last.
Before the current outpouring, their church, the Airport Vineyard, had been in a hospital mode, where there was healing and deliverance, but in the final analysis, it seemed that all of the needs were magnified, and the Lord was minimized. Then, they experienced a turnaround about a year before the outpouring, when they went to Mapleleaf Gardens in Toronto, where Benny Hinn was ministering. In those meetings, about twenty people in wheelchairs were healed. Backstage, Benny Hinn ministered to them, and Carol became really drunk in the Spirit and filled. Later, they went to further Benny Hinn meetings and to Rodney Howard-Browne meetings in Fort Worth. However, he said this was not really what he was looking for -- he wanted healing and salvation more than people laughing and falling to the floor.
Benny Hinn is a kingpin of the Toronto Movement, particularly considering his influence on John Arnott, pastor of the Toronto Airport Vineyard: "John is very close friends with Benny Hinn which gives an indication of what his priorities are in terms of the Holy Spirit" (Alpha magazine, September 1994). Arnott confesses his own inexplicable non-susceptibility to Benny's anointing:
"I'd probably had Benny pray for me 50 times, trying to give me what he had [John hadn't received the anointing until November '93]. I was never sure if I fell down that everything happened so fast that the catchers behind me just grabbed me and pulled me back or if he [Bennyl hit me so hard on the forehead that he knocked me down, or whether I just wanted it so bad that I just sort of fell over because that was what expected of me and I'd been kind of lying there on the floor thinking to myself- 'I don't feel anything, you know I don't want to make this or you know hype it or anything in any sense of the word. I might as well just get up from here,' not in touch with the fact that I was really receiving things of God whether I received it or not." It was back in 1991 at a Benny Hinn Crusade that we see laughter break out among the children and Rodney Browne is on stage and called forward by Hinn. "Rodney, God has given you a great anointing for this. Let the holy laughter hit them in Jesus' mighty name...it's coming [zapped him].... Pick him up. Now release it on the people, Rodney!" Hinn laid hands on his forehead (transferring the anointing) and he goes down. He then picks him up and inaugurates him into ministry by saying go ahead Rodney. Rodney starts by saying "I command you to laugh in Jesus name "and repeats over and over ad nauseam. This is not the polished stick that the world was exposed to on TBN, airing him on Praise the Lord program or at the Carpenters Home Church. It was raw and awkward but worked nonetheless on those with weak minds that are willing to receive a suggestion they think is of the Holy Spirit..
Dr. Derek Prince in his book Protection from Deception www.derekprince.org/Publisher/File.aspx?ID=1000035020 talks about John Arnott and the Toronto Blessing states that it's "a mixture of spirits, both the Holy Spirit and unholy spirits, they are mixed together. Now in Lev 19:19 God warns us against mixture. He is opposed to mixture." IN PROTECTION FROM DECEPTION - navigating through the mine fields of signs & wonders. In the first message entitled "LET US HONOUR GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT" Dr Prince seeks to "analyse a problem that has arisen in many sections of the Church, in many parts of the world." He is openly critical of what has happened in Toronto. Here are some pertinent quotes:
"The greatest single danger in this end time is not sickness, nor poverty, nor persecution. It is deception. If anybody says, `It could never happen to me', it has already happened to that person, because that person is saying something could never happen that Jesus said would happen. "Then I want to say something important about signs and wonders. They do not define truth. It's very essential to understand that SIGNS AND WONDERS DO NOT DEFINE TRUTH. Truth is already defined and established and it is the WORD OF GOD." - ref Jn 17:17 & Ps 119:89.
In referring to 2 Thess 2:9-12 Dr Prince comments, "Paul says here there are such things as lying signs and wonders. There are true signs & there are lying signs. True signs attest the truth, lying signs attest lies . many in the charismatic movement have the attitude that if something is supernatural it must be from God. There is no Scriptural basis for that assumption. Satan is perfectly capable of producing powerful signs and wonders to attest his lies, and the reason why such people are deceived is because they did not receive the love of the truth. God offers the love of the truth but we have to receive it .. (otherwise) God will send strong delusion. That's one of the most frightening statements in the Bible, because if God sends you strong delusion, you will be deluded."
In this context and immediately after developing this idea Derek Prince says, "Now in 1994 for the first time I was brought into fairly direct contact with things that were happening in Toronto. A group of leaders went there and returned all excited & said they had experienced something wonderful and we all needed to experience it. They said, `Now you don't test it. You don't try it out. You don't examine it. You just open up to it and receive it.' Well that is the first time I really became suspicious of some of these things because it is directly contrary to Scripture. In 1 Thess 5:21 Paul says to Christians, `Test all things hold fast to what is good.' So if we do not test things we are disobeying Scripture, and anybody who tells us not to test things is himself not in harmony with Scripture. Our hearts cannot be relied upon to give us the truth. Prov 28:26 says, `He who trusts in his own heart is a fool.' So don't be a fool. Don't trust your own heart. Don't rely upon what your heart tells you because it's not reliable. In Jer 17:9 the prophet says `The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, who can know it?'

After Its Latest Fad The Question Must Be Asked: Is St. Andrews Merely A Spiritually And Doctrinally Deranged Church Or A Lunatic Asylum With A Cross On The Roof?
It was the predecessor of Mark Stibbe, Anglican vicar at St. Andrew’s Chorley Wood , David Pytches, who promoted the ‘Kansas City Prophets’, (now proven by scripture and history to be false prophets), with his wild book ‘Some Said It Thundered’ in which he lauded Bob Jones and Paul Cain.
The fanciful false prophetic predictions of a great British revival for October of that year made in the Name of The Lord by Jones, Cain and their pastor Mike Bickel and the late John Wimber made in August of 1990 came to nothing. More mosques have been built in Britain than churches in the last 18 years since their promised ‘latter day rain’ and as with the failed Alpha courses the UK has only witnessed steadily increasing moral and spiritual decline including a Church of England headed by a member of a Druid sect and favoring same sex marriages and the lesbian and homosexual ordination urged by Desmond Tutu.
Pytches, Sandy Miller, Nicky Gumbel, Terry Virgo, Gerald Coates, and RT Kendall all quickly jumped on the ‘Kansas City’ bandwagon, but the assured revival never materialized; the diametric opposite transpired instead. Lakeland meetings were also mimicked in Dudley, England and predictably endorsed by Gerald Coates who tried to copy the failed Pensacola revival in London.
Lakeland is the most recent sequel but Kansas City was the prequel. Indeed, the gross distortion of The Book of Joel by the Kansas City false prophets, by means of abandoning biblical exegesis and embracing pure Gnosticism in the mystical subjectivist interpretation of Joel, saw the Babylonian invaders whom God will destroy retro-identified as ‘The Triumphant Church’. The participants at the Docklands fiasco saw the locusts of Joel’s apocalyptic vision identified as the demon cohorts of hell in Revelation chapter 9 , re-identified as the ‘Kingdom Now’/ Manifest sons participants in the conference. The mishandling and distortion of scripture was religious madness that set the stage for the next failed revival from Toronto, Canada led by John & Carol Arnott. This was likewise followed by the demise of its American clone at Brownsville Assemblies of God that ended in a massive church split and public financial scandal, but likewise no revival despite an avalanche of big talk and hollow promises.
Indeed, as one who himself believes in the charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit when practiced scripturally, the consecutive failure of these counterfeit moves of Gods to deliver what they falsely promised was predictable, and in fact inevitable. Abject theology leads to abject spirituality. Doctrinal bankruptcy equates to spiritual bankruptcy.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City False Prophets hyped and promulgated by St. Andrew’s Chorleywood to no end have publicly fallen from grace. Bob Jones was debunked as a sexual predator with vulnerable women while Paul Cain was publicly disclosed to be a drunken pervert with a life long history of alcoholism and homosexuality.

Now Mark Stibbe has promoted the ‘Third Wave’ sequel of Toronto and Pensacola in Lakeland, Florida . Lakeland pastor Stephen Strader admits it is the continuation of the Toronto and Pensacola phenomena.
According to various news reports, The Florida District Attorney believed Pastor Stephen Strader to be as guilty as his brother Daniel, but obtained a RICO conviction on his brother Daniel, now in prison until 2036 after defrauding elderly Christians out of $3 million dollars. Strader was convicted as a professional racketeer under RICO laws. RICO anti racketeering legislation is used in the prosecution and sentencing of professional gangsters engaged in various forms of organized criminal activity. These are the Strader brothers.
Strader brought in a criminally convicted Canadian homosexual pedophile named Todd Bentley to conduct his counterfeit revival. Bentley was imprisoned for the homosexual molestation of a seven year old before being commissioned to lead the Lakeland pandemonium. Bentley has meanwhile filed for a separation from his wife which by Canadian law is the first step to divorce. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Bentley has a history of adultery excluding him from ministry that has been covered up and has once again become involved in a yet another improper extra marital relationship. Yet it is this same Bentley that Wendy Alec of the so called 'God Channel' has defended labeling those critical of him and his carnal antics as being of the devil, and it is this same Lakeland hoax that Mark Stibbe and St. Andrews Chorleywood promulgated aggressively.
Bentley was exposed on national TV in the USA on the ABC Nightline broadcast for being unable to medically document a single claimed healing. Some of those pronounced healed at Lakeland have however since been medically documented as deceased, and a statement by Arnold Palmer hospital likewise contradicts claims of a resurrection from the dead as bogus.
That the ‘Fruit of The Holy Spirit’ according to Galatians is ‘ekreitei’ “Self Control” not the lack of, never mattered to proponents of Toronto or Pensacola. That such Fruit is also ‘gentleness’ does not matter either as Bentley kicks old ladies in the stomach and baptizes people in the name of ‘Bam’. Christ’s own clear and unambiguous warning to avoid those like Bentley who claim His physical return before the ‘parousia’ and revelatory visitations from a healing angel named ‘Emma’ (there are no manifestations of angelic beings as women or as agents of healing in God’s Word) could hardly matter to someone like Mark Stibbe.
It is well know by police and social services that pedophiles frequently profess a religious conversion in prison as a parole stunt and then seek work in scout groups, schools, youth camps and churches in order to get near children. Although Bentley fits this profile, we do not have any evidence of any recent homosexual pedophilia by this self-disfigured heretical freak, however current verified information certainly exists in the public media about his taking his wife to court for a separation and his more recent history of adultery.
But even if he did undergo an authentic regeneration and become a Christian, many ask why he would then say The Lord led him to cover his body with an array of disfiguring tattoos that give him the appearance of a rather freakish goon? Even if his sexual perversion was prior to becoming a Christian as he claims, that is not true of his openly confessed mentor, sexual predator Bob Jones, whom Bentley lauds and endorses. Jones preyed upon women sexually in lewd acts as a ‘prophet’. Why would anyone serving Jesus endorse the ministry of a sexually immoral preacher who misused Christian ministry to perpetrate his perversions and who according to The New Testament has no biblical right to be in ministry as he is not above reproach?
These are the deranged antics of Lakeland we are speaking of and these are the kinds of people we are talking about; an assortment of perverts, swindlers, drunks, homosexuals, demonstrable false prophets, and even a tattooed criminally convicted pedophile child molester turned adulterer filing separation procedures against his wife. This is the whacky world of Mark Stibbe.
Perhaps Mark Stibbe will defy 1 Corinthians 6 and attempt to take brother to court and attempt to sue me for these comments. His problem is the documented facts are in the public domain. I doubt he would ever face me in front of a video camera in a public debate; but the offer is open.
It is more likely Mark Stibbe will go the way of Stephen Sizer, John Stott, Nicky Gumbel, David Pytches, Sandy Miller and the other supposedly ‘Born Again’ Anglicans and continue to compromise and turn a blind eye to the homosexual and lesbian ordination and same sex marriage in his beloved Anglican communion and remain in that backslidden institution within whose ranks St. Andrews remains a haven for the ridiculous, the demonically deceived, the spiritually counterfeit, the biblically ignorant, the carnal, and the blatantly absurd.
Fortunately, Anglicanisms Evangelical fore-fathers Ridley, Latimer, Hooper, Tyndale, and Cranmer were made of better stuff and would be out the door of the modern Church of England even faster than they were out the door of The Church of Rome in the 16th century.
The combination of heresy and carnality that has so characterized Lakeland and its predecessor counterfeit revivals is a sure symptom of sexual immorality as we have witnessed with Elim's Ian Bilby, with Jim & Tammy Bakker, with Ted Haggard, with Bentley's proclaimed heroes Bob Jones & Paul Cain who were launched into meteoric prominence from St. Andrews Chorleywood by David Pytches, and now Todd Bentley himself, who was once again pushed on naive and undiscerning Christians by St. Andrews Chorleywood courtesy of Mark Stibbe.
It is also noteworthy, how much of this sexual immorality has been of a perverse, un-natural, pedophile, or homosexual nature. Bentley is not the only convicted pedophile; the leader of Toronto on the Isle of Man was an Elim pastor sent to prison for sexual acts with an underage girl in the children's Sunday School, and Ted Haggard & Paul Cain join Bentley with a history of homosexuality. Bentley was not the first pervert, and we can probably rely upon the god channel, Elim, and above all Mark Stibbe & St. Andrews Chorleywood to be sure he will not be the last.
This sick charismania of Mark Stibbe has no relation to any biblical practice of charismata or charismatic gifts, but on the contrary such Christ-less chaos is the sick and twisted lunacy my fellow charismatics & Pentecostals are commanded to avoid in 1 Corinthians 14.
Meanwhile, in the true spirit of Ezekiel chapter 13 Mark Stibbe has gotten the white wash out and tried to erase the shameful and undeniable history of what St. Andrews has once again been responsible for promoting as being from God just as with Paul Cain & Bob Jones. Revisionism and white wash however will not work; an actionable repentance alone will.
But this is unlikely to happen. When an empire has been built on a lie, the lie upon which the empire is predicated must continue to be propagated, even though everyone in their right mind knows it is all a lie. It is rather likely therefore that Mark Stibbe will attempt to continue to shepherd The Lord’s sheep in the way of doctrinal error and deception, following counterfeit after counterfeit, fad after fad, and religious con upon religious con; Mark Stibbe will most likely do what Mark Stibbe does best: Feed The Lord's sheep for whose welfare he will one day give account to the wolves (Ezekiel 34:5, 1 Peter 5:2-4). Jesus said that only a shepherd (pastor) protects sheep from wolves, hirelings do not (John 10:12-13).
Well done indeed Mark Stibbe - as Jesus would say: "your father must be proud of you" (John 8:44)!
The God channel is perhaps better called 'The God-less Channel', and Mark Stibbe's so called church, St. Andrews Chorleywood, firmly remains what it has always been since David Pytches - a hideous refuge for those who have long ago ceased to be truly led of The Holy Spirit on the basis of scripture but who have rather chosen to dispose of their bibles, their discernment, and their brains.
When most adults don't demonstrate "sign and wonders," why would the children do it? IHOP DOESN'T DOCUMENT MANY HEALINGS NEVER MIND CRIPPLES HEALED?
The International House of Prayer (IHOP-Kansas) is gearing up for its first "Signs and Wonders" camp for the 2012 season. There, 6-12 year old kids are trained "to heal the sick, reach the lost, prophesy, and pray for other children, to see Jesus exalted in their schools, homes, and neighborhoods."
People from the local area are invited to come to the camp and get healed by the children attending.
IHOP-Kansas' goal is "to see one million children radically committed to Jesus, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, and moving in signs and wonders."
Associated with the New Apostolic Reformation, IHOP-Kansas was founded by Mike Bickle, one of the prayer leaders at TX Gov. Rick Perry's "The Response" prayer rally in Houston last August. It is also linked with 7 mountains Christian dominionism, a form of theology that teaches that Christians must dominate seven "mountains" of culture — education, arts and entertainment, media, religion, government, family and business — in order to create a Christian kingdom for Christ to return to and rule. Performing "signs and wonders" is something that the New Apostolic Reformation adherents believe that they are commissioned to do in the "end times" in order to convert people to their brand of Christianity. These "signs and wonders" include raising the dead.
