CHAPTER 7
“What’s wrong?” Mikey asked, coming up and hugging me from behind.
“Nikki’s dating Madison…” I said, turning around to give him a quick peck on the lips. He smiled as he brought me into a hug.
“I love you.” he whispered softly in my ear. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder. I may love Madison, but Mikey has my heart. And I couldn’t be happier.
“I love you, Mikey.” I whispered in his ear. And it felt powerful, truthful, and just so…right. He leaned back and smiled at me. I felt my heart skip a beat and I smiled back at him.
“Come on, want to go get some lunch?” he asked, taking my hand in his and intertwining our fingers. I nodded and whipped the tears from my eyes.
Out in the hall, Madison and Nikki were making out, his arms around her waist, Nikki agenst the wall with her arms around Madison’s neck and her hands messing with his hair. Mikey quickly got in front of me and thankfully blocked out my view of Madison and Nikki. We got in the elevator and went down to the lobby to where the restaurant was. Once we got down there we ordered drinks. I ordered a Dr.Pepper and Mikey ordered a Coke. Me and Mikey were making jokes and holding eachothers hands. Everytime he looked at me, his eyes sparkled. And that made my stomach knot up. He is just so perfect.
Once we were done eating we went back upstairs. Mikey walked me to my room and kissed me goodbye. I walked in and waited 2 mins until walking to Madison's room. I HAD to look around. I wanted to see if Nikki was being a slut and sleeping with him. I love her but she's dating my ex. I walk in and get down on the floor to look under the bed. Just then I heard Nikki laughing with Madison outside the door. My eyes widened and I rolled under the bed. But peaked under the bed skirt to still see what was happening. Nikki walked in laughing "Oh Madison. I just can't get enough of you." He laughed. "I'm not that great" Nikki turned around to him and put her hands on his chest and got close to his face. "No. You're amazing." Then she pecked his lips. I rolled my eyes. "I'll be right back" she said. She walked in the bathroom and I saw Madison change into basketball shortsand no shirt. He layed back in his bed and Nikki walked out. She had on Madisons tour shirt on with really short shorts. She walked over to him and got on top of him. Then she started making out with him. He had his hands on her butt and she had her hands in his hair. All of a sudden I hear an opening of the door. But Nikki and Madison didn't. They just continued. I move over to just see Nick standing there. I took a huge risk and got out from under the bed. He looked at me weird look but I dragged him out of the room.
"What is going on?" He asked. "Madison and Nikki got close and they... Ya know..." He started laughing. But not like a happy laugh more like an 'Hes gonna get it' laugh. "I told Madison that I was gonna ask her out. And he goes and kisses her?!" I put my hand on his shoulder. He looked me in the eyes and he just kissed me. I got a weird feeling in my stomach and I pulled him towards me. All of a sudden I hear a vocie say "What the fuck?!" I look up and see Nikki. Nick pushed me away and I walked up to Nikki. "I could ask you the same thing. You and Madison were almost fucking in there. What was that?" "Madison wanted my help to show you what it's like to see someone you love kiss someone else." I laughed. "You're such a liar!! If it was for that then why were you kissing him in the room?" "Maria" she said" I saw you're curly hair under the bed." "Oh" I said. Nick looked at her. "So you're dating Madison?" She shook her head. "Of corse not." She got close to Nick. "Nick. I really like you. I would never want Madison over you." He smiled and kissed her. I laughed and pulled them apart. "I've seen enough kissing today" I laughed. "Hey!" Nick said. "I've been waiting for this for years." He smiled at me then looked back at Nikki. I raised my hands and started walking away. I was so glad that Nikki wasn't really seeing Madison. I wasn't jealous I just didn't like the feeling of my friend dating him. I started thinking about Mikey. I like him but something felt off. Like something wasn't right
