CHAPTER 20
I had the thick, soft, white covers pulled up to my chin and I was soaking my pillow in my tears, when Madison came in. He was in his red jacket and matching Vlados, his concert clothes. He looked perfect. And that made me cry even harder.
He paused for a moment, taking in what was happening, before he ran to the bed and kneeled next to me.
"Maria! What's wrong? Are you okay? What happened?" He asked, wipping my tears with his thumb.
"Madison...I need to tell you something. But before I do, just know that I love you. And only you, Madison." My voice sounded horrible, and I bet I looked just as bad. Madison eyebrows furrowed and his hazel eyes softened as he gave me a questioning look.
"Maria, seriously, what's going on?"
I started to cry again, asking myself why I always did this to him.
"Nick kissed me. And I kissed back. But Madison, I swear, on everything, it was nothing. I was in the moment. It won't happen again, I promise. And this time, I'm going to keep that promise."
He turned his head away from me, taking in what I had just told him. and I felt the guilt take over me. I was just about to apologize once more, when Madison turned his head and crashed his lips onto mine. I was in complete shock, but slowly I started to kiss back. Madison pushed me back on the bed, making space for him to get up. He grabbed my thighs and dragged me towards him and he wrapped my legs around his waist, and wrapped his arms around my waist. My hands were resting on his cheeks. I couldn't believe he forgave me...he forgave me...I could help but smile through out our kiss. Madison noticed and pulled back smiling.
"Why are you smiling?" He asked, chuckling alittle.
I giggled, running my fingers through his hair, messing up his fo-hawk.
"Cause you love me." I smiled, looking into his soft hazel eyes.
"You didn't know that?"
"Well, it just hit me. Like REALLY hit me." He smiled and pressed his lips softly to mine and smiled his side smile that I loved.
"Well I love you. I love you more than I've ever loved anyone."
"I love you, too. I always will." I kissed him one more time before getting up and walking to the bathroom. I washed my face and re-applied my makeup. Then I put on my white skinnies, my black biker boots, and my plain black crop top. I walked out of the bathroom and unplugged my phone from its charger. I heard Madison wolf-whistle and I turned around to find Madison one inch from my face.
"Where are you going so dressed up?" He smirked, leaning alittle closer.
I sighed, "gonna go apologize to Nikki, Julia said she was down in the lobby."
"And you need to dress up for that?"
"Its a girl thing." I said, patting his head then walking out the door. I was a few feet from the elevator when someone grabbed my wrist. I turned around to find Nick.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"Apologize to Nikki."
"Well great, that makes two of us."
We sighed in union. We both regreted it. And we both new it.
"Let's just explain together." Nick said, walking into the elevator.
