Disgraceful is what this world has become today,
Full of violence, hatred and intolerance for one another.
So many things enrage me and i sure have some words to say,
How long will you people keep this on for? Forever?
We all live together on this planet, what we call world,
We are all humans, men and women, boys and girls,
Our race and religion doesnt make us different, we all have hearts,
Yet why is it that humanity like to stand so far apart?
My wish, as a human being, is for the people to come together,
Under a banner of mankind full of nothing but love.
To create a world with no hatred, peace that lasts forever,
so that the Lord may smile upon us all from the heavens above.
I sometimes feel like it will never happen, not till judgement day,
As we all have trapped ourselves in the lies our governments say.
My words mean nothing, my poem means nothing,
But i am a human with a sole heart and voice.
You may sit there laughing finding it funny,
But wishing for the unity of mankind is solely my choice.
