Monday ratings: NBC won night, Gossip Girl returns low, Castle rises and (most) CBS shows eye an uptick

The Voice and Revolution powered NBC to another easy Monday victory.

The singing competition series, which kicked off its battle rounds Monday, lured 12.6 million viewers and a 4.7 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, growing for the second week in a row. Revolution (8.2 million, 3.1) dipped a tenth, but dominated the 10 o'clock hour in the demo by almost a full rating point.

Most of CBS' lineup saw an uptick from last week, including the struggling Partners (6.3 million, 2.2), but that is likely due to football preemptions in Texas.

ABC's Castle (10.5 million, 2.2) also rose to hit season highs in viewership and the demo. Dancing with the Stars (13.3 million, 2.1), the most-watched show of the night, was steady.

On Fox, Bones (7.1 million, 2.0) and The Mob Doctor (3.5 million, 0.9) both slipped a tenth.

The CW's season premieres of 90210 (995,000, 0.5) and Gossip Girl (770,000, 0.4) were both down from their previous openers.
