PART I:
You will stand up and dance while I’m singing

-First time being in Viet Nam, what do you feel about the weather and people here?
+ I love this hot humid weather so much. The weather like this is good for my voice.

-What do you think about the welcome of Vietnamese Glamberts to you?
+This is the first time I’ve ever come to Việt Nam. Last night, I spent most of my time resting. I think tomorrow night performance will be wonderful. As I know, this is a free concert. I feel so great that everyone has a chance to attend such a meaningful concert. You will have very interesting time and enjoy the music. I will try my best to make you all stand up and dance when I appear on the stage. That’s my job.

-Looking back at the day with a lot of difficulties, what would be your advice to youngsters who want to pursuit career in the music industry?
+I only suggest that you should always be yourself. Relax and do what you like.

-Do you like reality shows?
+I only like imaginary movies.

-Who have had influences on your music?
+A lot, but I admire artists who can create diffences in music, fashion and ideas such as Micheal Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Queen,.. I also like new artists such as Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga but artists who have great impact on me usually belong to last generation.

-If Hollywood want to make a movie about you, who would you like to play Adam Lambert?
+I will play Adam Lambert (laugh). Is that OK? Apparently I’m the one who sing my own songs in the best way. The movie will reflect my childhood and the process I developed my musical career, sound interesting, right? I wish I could play a character who has the same personality as mine.

-Britney Spears may not attend the “X factor” next season because of she was criticized to be so boring. If you were invited by Simon Cowell, what would you do?
+Why not? I think it would be an interesting job. If I were the judge in any competition, I would always be truthful. That means sometimes I would be so kind, but sometimes so harsh. The importance is that I always tell the truth.

-What do you think about the boom of talent compertitions at the present?
+Obviously, reality shows to find singing talents are becoming popular, The Voice and X Factor are so successful. I think this is never enough because new singers, new talents need more opportunities to try and find their way to introduce themselve to the world. Of course, it is not easy to get a contract with a famous studio, so when you come to these competitions , you can reach your dream more easily.

-Which song from album “Trespassing” do you like the most?
+ I like all because the process to make the album was so interesting. Which song I like the most depends on how my mood changes, each time I like a different song. According to my happy and thrilled mood to day, tomorrow night I will perform some songs from Trespassing and some
from my first album For you entertainment. I will also cover Are you gonna go my way of Lenny Kravitz. Maybe I wont perform any songs from American Idols because it has been a long time.

-What is your inspiration when you wrote songs for album Trespassing?
+ It all comes from my own self. I always want to be myself and what in the album are stories from my life. The album includes half energetic tracks and half tender tracks, just as the way I am.

-Normally, runner-ups would easily become more successful than winners. Yourself is a typical example. Could you explain this?
+As you can see, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are the 2 most sccessful singers in the history of American Idol, they both won. Whether a contestant will succeed or not never follow any definite rules. there are still ones who come third or fourth but are able to obtain many things. The most important is that each has to find their own chance of success.

-What did you have to sacrifice for today success?
+ I only sacrifice a little bit, not a big deal. Of course it’s impossible for a successful person to sacrifice nothing. Anyway, I dont think that I has reached the point that’s called success. Everyone has their own definitions of this thing, maybe some people think you are successful, while the others don't.

- What advice would you give to the Adam Lambert at his first step to the music industry?
+Keep calm, everything will be alright. Guess, 10 years later I would give the now Adam Lambert the same thing.
