The Creation Of Humanity:

After the gods have won the war, they one day thought about creating mortal beings on Earth and so Zeus told Iapetus, Epimetheus and Prometheus to create mortal beings. Epimetheus asked his brother Prometheus to let him create mortals and so he did. Epimetheus made some animals small, but fast, some big and strong, but slow and so on and so on... But he didn't think it all through and the last mortal being, human, didn't have any advantage. Prometheus saw that and, after facepalming, took wisdom from Athena and gave it to humans. He took fire from Hephaestus and also gave that to humans and, before his punishment, he taught humans all he knew.

Prometheus' punishment:

Zeus was very angry, Prometheus made humans look like Gods and he punished Prometheus after he stole the fire. Others say that Prometheus took cow mean and cowered it with skin and put that on a plate, and he took bones and cowered it with fat on the other plate. He told Zeus to pick one and he will give the other plate to the humans. Obviously Zeus took the plate cowered with fat and he realized he got tricked, out of rage he took the fire from the humans, which Prometheus stole back. Prometheus was tied on top of the mountain Caucasus and an eagle would eat his liver. His liver would recover over the night so that the eagle could feast again. 30 years later Heracles saved him, but that's a story I'll tell later.

Pandora and Pandora's box:

Hephaestus, in his workshop, made the first woman. In the beginning she was just a statue made out of metal, but she was so pretty that Zeus decided to make her alive. Every god gifted her with something: sexiness, beauty, intelligence...but Hermes gave her the ability to be cunning, to lie and Hera gave her curiosity, which will be the whole point of this story later on. Zeus gave Pandora to Epimetheus, who took her for his wife. As a wedding gift, they got a shiny box, obviously Pandora's box, and Zeus gave them the key of that box, telling Pandora not to open it if she wished a long and happy marriage. Some time, they really lived happily, but Hera's gift, curiosity, made Pandora open the box and all the evil in the world came out, but the last thing that got out, in the shape of a bird was hope.

*Hope is what makes us stronger. It is why we are here. It is what we fight with when all else is lost.-God of war 3 ending, found it epic :p

Pyrrha and Deucalion:

This is where Greek mythology meets the bible. Humans have rotten, they have started doing terrible things, and Zeus came to Earth to see it for himself and what he found was terrifying. Cannibalism, it reminded him of his father and it made Zeus create a flood, it rained for 9 days and 9 nights. He took Deucalion and Pyrrha, as the only good people on Earth, and saved them. They gave sacrifices and asked the god to create humans again. Zeus was in a good mood and told them to walk and take stones, then throw them over their shoulder. Deucalion's stones turned into men and Pyrrha's turned into women.

-Humans were made, all great problems ended and they existed and still exist. Thank you for reading my second lesson and I hope you learned something new. Next time I will write less text, I wrote this much cause I wanted to just end this section about humans and titans. Next lessons will be about the gods. I will write 1 god per lesson, or more if there isn't much.
