Suffering from trolls? There will always be people who want to tear you down when you have worked hard to get where you are. There will always be people who would rather criticize you than look in the mirror. There will always be people who, out of their own insecurity, pain, lacking, will try to make themselves feel better by making you feel worse about you. The key, as I've said before, is that no one has the ability to jerk your chain without your permission. But beyond not giving someone power over you by allowing their words, thoughts, and/or actions to harm you, remembering that dark energy feeds on dark energy can stop you cold in your tracks from allowing yourself to go to that place. Think about what comprises dark energies - pain, fear, jealousy, greed, anger...if someone comes at you (verbally or otherwise) and provokes these emotions, stop yourself and remind yourself not to 'feed the Beast.' The 'Beast' within everyone is real and will consume you if you allow it. If that happens, some of the responsibility will rest with you because you have fed it and strengthened it. Refuse to add to the dark energies and it has no power over you. Throw Light at the dark - it will dispel it. Accept you are not perfect. Accept you strive for the best. Accept you can only do what you can do. Accept that you will make mistakes. But do not accept another's judgment of those actions.
