Do you realize that the immigration reform bill being debated (in its 900 + pages) allows for up to FIVE family members for each amnestied illegal to come to the US and be granted citizenship?
All of a sudden instead of 11 million you have close to 60 million automatic low information voters flooding the country. Also, by the Federal Government's own research, 54% of immigrants from Mexico and South America have Less than a HS diploma or GED. Further That educational demographic has approximately 15% unemployment which means welfare, food-stamps, and housing assistance.

...and all this talk about how good Catholics they are? Hispanics have a 25% abortion rate, surpassed only by blacks at 36%.

and ANYONE should question the reason to abandon the currently written (but not enforced) laws which screen immigrants for usefulness and productivity prior to granting citizenship.
This is a bigger issue than simply a person's conscious.
