The last summer it was uncertain for him if he was going to renew with Omonoia. It is known that he integrated in the roaster of the team with some delay, since his future (in #omonoia) was uncertain.
Eventually, after negotiations with the management of the club for potential reductions of his wage, an agreement was achieved, thus he stayed in Omonoia. Apart from this, it is important to say that the French defender come at the 4th place in terms of playing time (1891 min), behind Moreira (2610 min), Margasa (2165 min) and Scembri (2076 min).
Cherfa played for 23 out of 29 games of the championship (21 as a basic player in the line-up and 2 times as change). He scored once at the match against Nea Salamina at Ammochostos Stadium (21st match of the season) and helped his team to win with the score 1-0.
