Tale of Two Ceasars

My Message to Corporate

I moved to the Mauldin area almsot 6 months ago. Every Friday for several years we will frequent the closest Little Ceasars to get 3 or 4 pizzas and have family pizza night and we have always had a good experience. But now we are in Mauldin. Every week with only one or two exceptions the service at the Mauldin Little Ceasars has been horrendous. Starting with being greeted. Never and I mean never have I ever walked in and been greeted. Typically there is no one at the counter and a group of people standing around waiting for their pizza. If there is someone at the counter they are buried in their screen and shortly after I enter they turn and walk towards the back of the kitchen. When I am finally able to order it is rare that anyone will actually no what I ordered. It is not uncommon for me to have to stop the cashier and have them correct themselves for calling out the order, that they just enetered, wrong. After the order comes the waiting. Normally there is a wait of at least 30 mins although this week it was more like 40-50. The wait wouldn't be so bad if I was told there was going to be a wait or what I would be waiting on but that is never explained. What does happen is a frenzy of confused employees stumbling over themselves to ask me what I am waiting on and then not remembering what I just told them and repeating it back to the kitchen with items I didn't order and missing items I did. It wasn't as if the place was so furiously busy that they simply forgot there were two customers including myself in the building. Tonight I walked in just before 7 and by 7:45 I was still waiting and I had had enough. And I politely asked for my money back. I was apologized to, again, but here is the thing about "I'm sorry" if you have to say I'm sorry every week for 6 months and you never fix the problem I'm not going to believe you are actually sorry. The manager who came to give me my refund had the audacity to try to assure me my order was "almost ready and would be right out" Why would I believe him? I had been told that for nearly an hour and I was ready to leave. Of course it couldn't be that simple because they couldn't find my order. I had to tell them what time I placed the order what register I gave the order at and which cashier took my order. Which in turn was responded to with doubt and arguing. At this point I was fuming and as the manager stared at the screen trying to locate my order I looked down on the counter where his hand was on the mouse and lo and behold there was the ticket from my purchase, right under his hand! When the refund was complete he tried to act professional and explain the basic math of the reciept to me but by then I was so disgusted with the entire experience I just snatched the receipt and walked out. I assure you I will not be frequenting the Mauldin Little Ceasars anytime soon. What I can tell you is that I drove 10 mins out of my way to another Little Ceasars walked in had to wait for pizzas to come out of the oven and still walked out in less than 6 minutes. The girl who took my order there remembered every detail about my order and saw it through from start to finish and I was back home in less than half the time I spent at the Mauldin Little Ceasars!
