Pain's died down as long as I stay still - which sounds crap but is a definite improvement on the weekend.

Part of my leg has gone a nasty colour - got a feeling the ulcer is going to expand in that direction - by about an inch if I'm right.

The nurses said they could only check my BP by putting the cuff right onto the ulcer - so they were politely told to sod off!

And today I wound up having to show the staff nurse how to apply the dressing (a) without hurting me and (b) without it falling off. It's tricky, but hell, I can do it. I mean, she's not a lot younger than me, always been a nurse as far as I know, so I have to wonder what the hell they're teaching them!? It's not the first thing I've had to show them, either.
