@luvblackroses My view, especially with GPs, is that a well-informed patient can work in partnership with his/her doctor. My guy, though, seems to see me as a threat (though he did admit that I know more about Addison's than him), whereas the senior partner agrees with me.
Thing is, patients have far more time for research than doctors, so it makes sense to use us. Intelligent, well-informed, patients can be an asset, not a threat.
