Queen + Adam Lambert - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne August 29th & 30th, 2014.

I was lucky enough to have been able to go to both the Melbourne shows & these are just a few of my impressions/thoughts.
Night #1, I was on the floor & Night #2, I was near the front of one of the upper level sections, so had a different perspective & view of the show & the crowd on each night.
Both nights the venue was packed to the rafters & the atmosphere was amazing & electric. Almost from the get go Adam had much of the crowd in the palms of his hands & all we wanted from him & the rest of the Queen guys was more.
Adam was funny, naughty, playful & witty as well as being & sounding amazing & sexy as hell. He was very charismatic & engaged & chatted with the crowd on numerous occasions, getting them to participate & sing with him, He was also grateful & humble to have been given the honour of fronting Queen & the opportunity to sing their songs.
On both nights there were people up clapping & dancing all over the venue & singing along to almost every song. Those on the floor were on their feet for much of the shows & many others in other sections were on their feet by concert end.
Each night Adam was on fire, gave it his all & was at the top of his game & so at home up on stage. You could also feel/sense his connection to & with the songs & also with Brian, Roger, Rufus, Spike & Neil plus the admiration, love & respect between the guys was very obvious for all in the venue to see & witness.
By the end of both shows he had convinced many a Queen fan who didn't think he was up to the task, that he had the ability, the theatrics & the vocal range to do the Queen songs justice & they were impressed & were wanting to hear more. Some went there not knowing what to expect from Adam but they seemed quite pleased by what he delivered over the two nights.
On my way out each night all I heard was nothing but praise for Adam & the performance he had just given.
I feel blessed & honoured to have witnessed the awesomeness of Adam with Queen live & he's definitely the right person to help Brian & Roger bring the Queen catalogue of music/songs to those who know little &/or nothing about Queen & their music.
