@ThoseUSAGirls @XADTED #FLOGuitarEnthusiasts Scott and Jeff are joined tonight by Solo Dallas and Ron Moreno. Solo Dallas was the one who introduced Angus Young of AC/DC to the Schaffer-Vega Diversity System wireless system. This groundbreaking system was conceived by Ken Schaffer around 1975, and it was the first reliably and beautifully sounding wireless system for musicians. It became standard equipment for such groups as Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Blondie, Boston, ELO, Frank Zappa, and many, many more, even though the original models were quite expensive. Solo Dallas has recreated the original Diversity System, and has even made a foot pedal version of it. Angus Young has been using this replica now with AC/DC. We learn tonight of the breakthrough developments that Ken Schaffer did and what it took to bring the system up to date to today's technology. We dig deep into wireless technology! Join us, tonight, 8pm Pacific time, 11pm Eastern time, at www.latalkradio.com on ch 1.
