@Cat_Cassels I've had no faith in doctors since the killed my father when I was 12. Diagnosed with rheumatic fever he actually died of septicaemia a week later.

Even in 1957 septicaemia could be identified with a blood test and cured with penicillin.

No excuse for getting it so badly wrong - the GP even admitted as much.

As for HF, they're putting too much faith in a single blood test and ignoring the symptomatology entirely. My original cardiologist had no doubt 2 years ago, The cardio don in hospital last month had no doubt. She spent a long time with me explaining it in minute detail. And pulmonary oedema is a major, and potentially fatal, symptom of HF.
