Latest Update from the Bizarre Faroes

The latest news is that the 3 woman crew of the Spitfire are being interrogated by the police. The Spitfire is being released. The charge is even more ludicrous than was first anticipated. The charge now appears to be harassing the dolphins because they are considered a "protected" species. Apparently in the Faroe Islands it is perfectly legal to kill a protected species, but it is illegal to push them back out to sea because that is considered "harassment."

So these three Sea Shepherd women can proudly say that they successfully harassed the dolphins for the purpose of saving their lives.

The Faroe Islands are a very bizarre place where the islanders perverse lust for slaughter, has them interpreting laws all designed to defend killing and opposing protection.

This is akin to being charged with harassing a group of women who were about to walk into a park in the dead of night where rapist serial killers were lurking in the bushes.

"Turn around ladies, there are rapist serial killers in the bushes."

Policemen: "Hey you, you're under arrest for harassing those women and for not informing the rapists that the women were approaching."

"But officers, the thugs in the bushes were intending to rape and kill those women."

"That's not our concern. Our concern is that you harassed these poor women and besides raping and killing is legal but preventing the women from being raped and slain is illegal."

The good news is however that a pod of hundred of white sided dolphins were successful harassed away from the vicious knives of the whalers.

Last year 450 white sided dolphins fell to the cruel knives of these cetacean slaughtering thugs. Fortunately the hundreds spotted today remain safe at sea.
