@curlytops1 Well, better that last night! Still hurting, but it's normal - not as extreme as it was.
BP is off the scale though - too high for the machine to record. Tried again, got 149/85. Got out the old machine to check - exactly the same. Not good.
It seems as if even the minimal exertion of connecting to the machine is enough to drive it up so, tomorrow, I'm going to put the cuff on, wait half an hour, then check it.
