@suejaneizzard Was talking with @Dannilion the other night about adapting a 3D printer as a remote cooker.

Fit it with hoppers of ingredients instead of spools of plastic filament, and a pot instead of the stage on which it would spin the object, plus a water supply, and the code would tell it how much of each to drop into the pot, how much water, and how long to cook it for.

We both reckon it's doable - the basic technology already exists - just needs an investor with half a million £ or so to spare for product development!
