Rules for Saturday's No Ropes Match Mid-Atlantic Champ Roy Wilkins vs @tlee910

There MUST be a winner THIS Saturday night for the Mid-Atlantic Championship!

After Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion ROY WILKINS repeatedly used the ropes for an illegal advantage to retain his title, TREVOR LEE has challenged the champion to meet him this Saturday night at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium in a match where the ropes will be taken off the ring and the man who leaves as champion must out-wrestle or out-fight his opponent once and for all. The rules for this unique, first-of-its-kind match-up have been finalized and agreed upon by both parties.

1. The bout can ONLY be won by submission or knock-out, no pinfalls. These rules eliminate the possibility of a roll-up or flash pin and ensures a definitive, decisive winner and loser.

2. As a result of their 30-minute time limit draw in August, this bout will have NO time limit ensuring there MUST be a winner.

If these two submission specialists stay on the mat, we could be in for a pure wrestling classic. If tempers flare and it breaks out into a fight, everything becomes much more dangerous as without the ropes you can fall out of or be thrown from the ring much more easily. There’s also the risk of possibly being gashed open on a bolt or edge of the ring post without the turnbuckle pads there to absorb the impact. We recently saw first hand how devastating a KO can be when Ethan Case knocked out Lance Lude to capture the PWI Ultra J Championship on October 18.

With that in mind, we want to encourage our front row fans to be on the move if the wrestlers head their way. Without the ropes there to protect either man, the action could spill out of the ring and into the crowd at a moment’s notice. While we will have security in place as always, we encourage our fans always to be alert and move out of the way of oncoming wrestlers in the event that the action should spill to the floor.

As with all CWF Mid-Atlantic matches unless otherwise noted, the referee reserves the right to stop the match if either man cannot continue or defend himself. As with all CWF Mid-Atlantic bouts, the referee’s decision is final.
