Real Madrid lose Christian cross from club crest to appease Abu Dhabi bank

This was described as a "gesture" in yesterday's Daily Telegraph. By a journalist who presumably doesn't know what appeasement looks like.

Why don't we just demolish all churches while we're at it? The pain it must be causing them, after all...
