@suejaneizzard I'm trying to get management here to let me have a cat (I was thinking of a house rabbit - more fun than you might think - but they're prone to chewing wiring and I have way too much to risk that). Trouble is, no-one seems willing to commit themselves when I ask how long I've got (won't even guess), and I don't want to get a cat and then snuff it and leave it stranded.
