American singer Adam Lambert announces details of the very first single from the prepared new solo album. Song called „Ghost Town“ will be out on 21th of April 2015. A really short snippet of the song you can listen below. Adam Lambert - who in the latest time appeared a lot in position of the frontman of legendary band Queen - describes new album, which is his third album in row, as „pop with the taste of R&B“.
Producers of the recording are Max Martin and Shellback.
Guitarist of the band Queen recently praised Adam Lambert so much and proclaimed that he had a “gift from god”.
He mentioned that he was the only one performer among the all, which the band watched, able to adequately fill in the original iconic singer of the band Freddie Mercury.
“Adam is the only person from those we met who is able to do the complete catalogue of Queen without blinking of the eye” said May. “He has a gift from god.”
May also remarked that Lambert is able to sing higher notes than Mercury.
His band colleague, drummer Roger Taylor, added: “He is incredibly musical and we take seriously everything he says.”
But Lambert really don´t want to compare himself with Mercury. “Nobody will ever be like him, I am not replacement for him” he proclaimed.
“I won´t even try to do that. I am trying to keep alive the remembrance of him and to remind people how awesome he was without imitating him. I am trying to share with the audience how much he inspired me,” the talented singer explained.
