My story of OALD
Almost twenty years ago, when I was in my first year at the university, my friend let me borrow her copy of Hornby's dictionary for almost a year. We used to refer to the dictionary as "Hornby." It was my very first English-English dictionary. I liked its clear definitions with examples and an elaborate system of grammar codes (for verbs). Since 2001, I've been teaching English. Now I have my own copy of the 8th and even the latest, 9th edition of OALD. I also use the premium content of oxfordlearners.com every day. #loveOALD
