GETTING WELL-KNOWN?

I was at a @medicardinc clinic in Ortigas this afternoon for some check-up. After registering at the lobby, a male nurse took my body temperature and blood pressure, then measured my height and weight. After that, I waited for several minutes more before I was instructed to go up the nurse's station on the second floor for further instructions.

Upon reaching the top of the narrow stairs, a portly female doctor with a calm grin saw me and called me by my surname. The door to her clinic was already wide open. She bid me to enter (apparently, there was no more need for me to go to the nurse's station since I was the only patient at that time).

After the quick consultation, the friendly doctor then gave me a signed medical certificate then asked me if there was anything else she could do for me. I said that was all. I was good to go. All of a sudden, she bade me farewell... but in comical Spanish!

"¡Adiós, patria adorada!"

I gave her an amused adiós, too!

And yes, her table had a computer. Apparently with Internet connection. :D
