Most of our counter parts in western homeopathic community do not understand or do not want to understand the language and methods of science.
They seem to be more comfortable by placing homeopathy under the umbrella of CAM, and practicing homeopathy as an ‘energy medicine’ and ‘spiritual medicine’ ‘healing art’. They love to alienate themselves from mainstream science, and use to theorize about ‘unscientificness’ and ‘limitations’ of modern science. They are inclined more towards spiritualism wrapped in ‘ultra-scientific’ jargon. Ultimate result is, all of them engage in all sorts of unscientific ‘healing’ practices along with homeopathy, which discredit homeopathy as a whole in front of the scientific-minded people. Especially disturbing is the fact that they represent homeopathy in international forums.
Most wonderful thing is, these ‘homeopaths’ cannot understand the difference between ‘modern science’ and ‘modern medicine’. When I talk about ‘modern science’, they will take it as ‘modern medicine’, and accuse me as a supporter of modern medicine.
