True Reformation is never for personal, the local church, or denominational glory. As Hezekiah revealed in his letters to other tribes, Reformation desires reform for all believers. Paul and other apostles had the same mindset as they sent letters to the Gentile churches. The Reformation of the 16th century showed remarkable unity among churches from different countries and different liturgies. It was not about Luther or Calvin. Rather it was about restoring the One Glorious Church of God through our common salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, through Christ alone, through the Bible alone, and for God's glory alone. Happy #Reformation week!
