INFO COLOGNE TO MAKE UR WAY EASIER TO QAL SHOW. May, 27th 2016
Dear reader, I tried to sum up all Info I got for the QAL Show in Cologne 2day,
ref to a lot of questions coming in.
STADE
SOUTH WEST of Cologne
NAME: RHEINENERGIE STADION
Doors open 17.30 (5.30 pm) German time
Concert time: 19.30 (7.30 pm) German time
Capacity btw 45 - 50 thsd ppl, depends on stage..
Its a stade built for soccer play, but huge concerts took and take place.
QUEEN was THERE 1986.
I called for myself> Strict controlling is announced, so maybe u need more TIME than usual.

!! ENVIRONMENTAL BADGE NECESSARY IF BY CAR.
U NEED A GREEN BADGE, 5 EURO

BETTER PARKING IS bit out of City, in a public parking, a park and ride station,
or ofc in the INNER CITY, but thats not always cheapest.. :)

IF U GO TO STADE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
U CAN TAKE LINES to > NEUMARKT
(for example LINE 18 from Dom/Mainstation (HBF in GERMAN)
thats A TRAM, or any Metro,) then >>
FROM NEUMARKT U TAKE LINE (TRAM!!) 1
Direction to WEIDEN.
u REACH the stade then easily
WAY BACK maybe there are extra lines, this I dunno yet.

>> of course, when u have another way to go from/to Hotel - use this, they will tell u how to go best. I described mine :)

Arriving via plane, as some questions came in 2day >>> this;
The AIRPORT CGN/BONN is abt 25 min out of City,
there is all transports.. taxi, bus, metro..

Arriving via TRAIN:
TRAINS ARE ENDING IN COLOGNE; THEY CROSS THE FAMOUS BRIDGE;
then get out same way back..
We have A THALYS office there as well, u can use THALYS; ICE (InterCityExpress)
Infopoint in the hall, direction to DOME.
U find trains good via go-europe website.
ATTENTION
if u dont know: there is a cool website named >>
fromatob . u can often get tix cheap but last minute!

In case u get lost .. ASK for DIRECTION DOME THE DOME IS BEAUTIFUL; NEXT TO RHINE;
ACROSS MAINSTATION :)) there is always help :)

or "HOHE STRASSE" (all brands u usually know)

plus: ALL THE NEWSPAPERS U GET IN MAINSTATION next day, REF TO QAL, AM SURE :DDDDD
