Box Society need actors- paid opportunity

We are looking for up to 3 actors to perform as characters within a real world street game called Box Society, which will run at Hazard Festival and at Levenshulme Night Market.

Box Society is a game about our society – the pressure to fit in, and the hurdles we face navigating our daily lives with different means and abilities. In the game, players have to guide their box through a series of 9 creative, social and physical challenges.

We are looking for actors to play the Mayor and the Bureaucrats. These characters play an active part in the game by interacting with players throughout.

We need actors for two separate events: Hazard Festival on 9th July and Levenshulme Night Market on 29th July.

Hazard festival in St. Ann’s Square, Manchester, runs on Saturday 9th July, 2016. The festival is a celebration of performance, street art, activism and interactive art : http://www.wordofwarning.org/hab/hazard/

We will start the day at 11 am with a character briefing/rehearsal in the performance space. £220 fee, inclusive of travel expenses.

Levenshulme Night Market, Manchester, runs on Friday 29th July. The actors must be free from 6 - 9 pm and be able to get to the Levenshulme train station on the night of the performance. £145 fee, inclusive of travel expenses.
