Baymont Des Moines Airport
Here's a secret from a traveler who stays in over 100 hotel rooms a year...the brand makes a difference, but the biggest thing that makes a hotel good is how new the property is. I don't know how long this Baymont has been open--but I've stayed at it multiple times over the past couple of years and has the feel of a brand new hotel. I have made it my go-to in Des Moines because it has the quality feel of a much higher chain but with a Baymont price.
The front desk people are great...the rooms are large and clean...big indoor pool...quality breakfast...I think you get the picture. My star system for hotels is based on what you get for the money. This is why the Baymont Suites Des Moines Airport gets 5 stars from me.
