The Beasts Creator.

The Monster's Creator.

Soft thumps echoed down the halls as Max and a few other friends of hers walk down a long, blinding white hall with paintings of the Counsel members stared at them. At the end of the hall, a tall wolf stood, his hands folded behind his back as he looked eyes on the Rogue. Max offered a smirk as she turned into a doorway, knocking on the door frame as she announced her arrival.

"Hello, old friends." She said, smirking a bit as she stepped inside, watching over the group as they growled. "You called for help with this being that's been causing hard to this city. I'm here to help... as well as them." She jerked her head to the group of five behind her.

An elder male furrowed his browns and sneered. "We said you were to come alone... who are they?" The man hissed.

The brunette hummed, her eyes scanning over the speaker. "Mister... Bane, isn't it? Well, sir, these are my friends, Jace, Mason, Ella, Cameron and David. I've known them for many years... many." She said, chuckling softly as the group all growled again, her eyes narrowed upon the keeper, Efron Bane.

The keeper would huff and drum his pale fingers against the table top, the rest were wolves, consisting of Emile Laroche, Naomi Tor and others she didn't know. "Miss Johnson, we have had a being... we haven't figured out who or what it is, but we do know it's huge and aggressive. We have had wolves become missing or show up dead by puncture wounds all over their body. Deep gashes and claw marks. But, we do know where they go, a old business place. A laboratory, you can say, but our wolves don't wish to go in. Neither does Mistress Nightshade. She won't risk Calla going in even with her fighting every moment." Naomi would say, her eyes were saddened, Max could tell that the Keeper had done something to her child. Wraith's were the first weapon the Keepers would use to torture and fix their loyal servants behavior. Max didn't miss any of that.

"Naomi... do not worry about anything. All of you, everything will be fine. We will cure your problem. With all the luck we have had on the past. Now, it there anything you want us to do. Require inside cameras or no?" Maxine asked, a brow quirked as the people behind her shuffled, they didn't like the idea of having cameras on them.

"Cameras. Yes. Helmet ones." The keeper smirked at the wolf, making her bristle a bit. She knew Efrons background. He got what he wanted, and by the tension in her small group, things could go bad. Her brown hues looked up at the ceiling to see the shadow guards summon by the twist of the masters fingers.

She growled faintly. "Deal." The masters lips curved into a grin and he chuckled. "Good girl, Dax will give you your supplies... you may go." He waved her out and Max nodded her head as she turned and jerked her head to the door, her crew followed her out as the guard at the door told them to follow him, they did. It was the quiet walk down the hall to the weaponry room, once the door slid open, guns adorned the walls, ammo shined on the table and blades of all sorts hung off the walls as well. Mason was the first to whistle and walk inside, his eyes were like a kid who walked inside a candy store.

Twenty minutes in and they were given the helmets with the camera on them. They nodded their heads to Dax and left the armory, walking back down the hall to the outside world, where the sun shone brightly. Max was glad to be out of there, her back was all... tingly. She didn't like that feeling. Not. One. Bit. "Are we seriously going to do this for him?" Cameron asked, her voice was scared. She was a girl she saved from the Master.

"Yes.. we are... if you don't want to, you can go home. But, I have friends here I want to protect." Max hummed, tossing the helmets into a bag on the back of the jeep. "We know where we are going. Let's go. Nighttime is coming in soon." She said, walking over to her Ducati motorcycle, slipping her leg over the seat. "Mason, take the Jeep and Ella, take the Chevrolet. I'll take the back." She added, pulling the keys from her pocket as she stretched.

Everyone would nod and get into the truck and car, starting up and driving down the road to the laboratory that was holding the creature they were looking for. Max started up the moterbike, reveling the engine before it kicked forward, following behind the caravan as they take to the road.

It was an two hour drive, not to mention to grab a few guns and ammo from their home. It was past ten o'clock at night as they stopped outside the old business, her eyes drifted over the dark area, looking for movement as she kicked the stand down and dismounted her bike, her shoulders rolling as she looked at her friends who were already out of the cars, pulling on the vest and putting the helmets on with the cameras on them. "We know what we're doing okay? This place goes down three. Maybe four stories. This place is huge. Stay together and keep within hearing. Got it?" Max said, teeth snapping as she looked at the group who nodded their heads. "Good. Let's go." Max said, turning and walking off to the front door, they knew it would be locked before they got to it. The group would turn and walk around the business, looking for a window before they found the backdoor ajar, the wolves night vision kicked on, showing a world or greens and grays and whites. Slowly did they walk around the front offices, looking for something of interest before turning on the small flashlights they all had, strapped to the guns proving better light as they son hit the stairs that led downwards, following a cold draft of air, they looked at each other before slowly descending downward.

Max didn't like this, working for the 'bad guy', they all through as she pushed open a door and stepped inside. Blood coated the walls with slashes and claw marks all over the place. "Good god." Ella hissed, her eyes darkening as the stench of old blood and rotting bodies filled their noses. Gross. "Keep moving. This is only the second floor." Maxine growled, pulling her sweater over her nose as she did the same searched as the last, scanning. Scanning for anything of importance. Nothing again.

They defending down another set of stairs. It was worse. Very bad, blood was fresh. Bodies that were fresh latex everywhere. Intestines still moist covered the ground or spilled out of the stomach of the bodies. She heard someone throw up and she looked back, Ella had heaved and lost anything that was her stomach, Max felt sorry. "Ella... are you okay?" The young wolf had asked as she was worried about her friend. The younger wolf would nod her head. "If you can't continue, likely everything will get bad, you can watch the stairs... okay?" She said, Ella nodded her head and wiped her mouth before sitting down on the stairs, the gun held tightly in her grip. We will be back." She said, continuing on their walk, Max would stop and collect samples of hair and take pictures of the claw marks. She didn't like this at all. Not one bit again.

The next floor was the same but by then, the group had been separated. They couldn't hear each other anymore, they didn't want to breathe in the stench of death. Max did the same search as the last, scanning. This floor, she found a stack of papers, that weren't covered in blood, she quickly shuffled through the documents as she scanned it for names. Anything important. Then she saw it.

'The imports came, two tons of vampire blood with wolves to change. Victor will be happy to see they came early, the army will be made soon, and they will never notice.' 5-18-16.

'The hybrids went on their first hunt today, they were covered in blood, happy. Their howls filled the air around us for hours, than god that we built far enough down for them to not be heard. Number 28 was injured, silver had gotten stuck in his side his howls were terrorizing, sad and asking for help. We had to put him down, suffocating a creature you made was hard. But it had to be done.' 6-28-16

'They have broken free! The three floors were demolished. Our staff was murdered... I can't.. why? Did we do something wrong? They'll get out of the compound! . . . The tranquilizers worked! The beings went fast to sleep, after brutally murdering the workers and pack. We had to lock them away in the cages..... they started killing each other now, they needed the food and we can't supply them enough, the supplies won't arrive for another week or two.' 9-12-16

Maxine was shocked, her eyes were wide as she looked over them again and again. A door creaked open behind her as she began to turn, a rag was stuffed over her mouth, her panicked breathing would soon make her slowly become drowsy. Chloroform! Max would be dragged down the stairs to the last floor. When she came too, she was tied to a chair, her head bowed as she groaned. "What. The. fuck. Was. That?" She huffed, each pause causing her to slowly look up... and when she did, her mind went clear as she stared into the eyes of a beast. Tangled fur that stunk of blood just feet away from her.

"Malachi! Back away from our guest!" A masculine voice would growl, the beast above her would turn with one dark eye staring at her before it lopped away, her mind was reeling. Oh lord. All the lights would turn on and she saw creatures the same as this Malachi, locked in cages, collars hung from their necks and chained to a wall behind them.

This male would laugh a little. "I'm sorry, little wolf. He's just a pup, I promise. He was just so.... intrigued in what we had here." The voice was familiar, but she couldn't come up with a name yet. "Max, isn't it? I'm sure Efron sent you to rain upon our parade, but, he can't stop this, and neither can you. You're lucky you came here along." He said, her eyes looked at him. It was Gabriel. The Gabriel that tricked her months ago.

"Gabe.... Gabriel?" Her words were soft, her eyes were hard yet confused. "Why? What are you doing?!" She cried, her hues a dark tint as she watched the wolf smirk at her.

"I'm creating a new breed. A breed that will listen to me. I am the Alpha. They are my pack... and you? Now.. let's just say you have two options. Lead with me... or I can show you what Malachi and his friends can do." The wolf smirked broadly. He always was this way. His golden hair pushed out of his face as deep blue eyes locked on her brown ones.

Maxine thought about this for a whole, silence was everywhere but the growls and huffs around them by the beast.

"No. I would rather run than run beside you." She spat. Her back straightening as she glared at the man.

"Well then... so be it. I'll give you twenty seconds to get out... to run. But don't think you'll get away. They are quite fast." He said, a blade coming down behind her and snipping the rope off her wrist. Max would wait for him to turn his back before launching at him, hands curved into claws before WHAMP! She was thrown to the side by the beast, her shoulder cracked and she sobbed. "Aah! Fuck!" She screamed, cursing as she gelding her shoulder, the beast made a smirk as her set his foot upon her, holding her down. She saw movement on the top of the stairs before the beast lashed. Blood soaked her shirt as his claws raked down, tearing open the skin.

Maniacal laughter filled the room before she saw her friends fill the room, Mason, Cameron and Jase stood there, guns at the ready as they notice she was being killed. Slowly. Gunfire filled the chamber, and the beast roared, snarling as bullets pelted it's form. Blood sprayed. He charged forward to the stairs, shotgun shells filled the floor as well as AK-47 and semi auto rounds pinged off the metal floor. Max could see black spots fill her eyes as she tried to catch her breath, calm her pounding heard. The floor shakes as the being hit the ground, another roar filled the air as Gabriel changed his forms, only to be shot dead inches away from Cameron. Mason was the first to get to her, cradling her head before Jace came down, easily lifting the fatally injured Max into his arms. She began to cough, her eyes shut tightly as she shakes only to pass out.

"HOLD HER WOUNDS CLOSED! We're almost there!!" The voice sounded so far away, but it was Ella, the truck bounced with each bump it hit.

Constant rhythmic beeping filled her ears as she slowly came too, the smell of hospital gear filled her nose and she groaned. "H-huh?" Max murmured, her mouth was an uncomfortably dry.

"Shhh... you're alright Max.. we got you to the hospital." Cameron said, her eyes turning to the ruby haired woman.

"What happened?" She asked, before a cup was pushed to her lip, Max took heavy gulps of the water.

"You nearly died... but your pack knew best." The smooth voice of Efron Bane filled her ears and she looked at the man.

"What.. happened to the rest of them?" She asked, not even wanting to be moved at all.

"They were killed.. no more accidents from those beings will happen again. Thank you for your help, Maxine Johnson. You did your job and got some new battle scars as well. Now heal up and rest. It will be needed." Efron said before smirked and left the room. Max would slowly drift off again, soon falling back into sleep.
