Inaugural Talk: History of Women Philosophers and Scientists, Paderborn
Inauguration of the First International Center “History of Women Philosophers and Scientists“ at Paderborn University, Jenny Alony Haus, 11 a.m. – 1.p.m, October 24th, 2016.
A ceremony for the inauguration of the first international center dedicated to the research into the history of women philosophers and scientists, led by Prof. Dr. Ruth Hagengruber, will be held at Paderborn University. The ceremony will be opened by Svenja Schulze, the Science Minister of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Prof. Dr. Mary Ellen Waithe of Cleveland State University in Ohio, who is teaching at the Center this October and is an advisor to the center, will be attending and giving the keynote address.
Prof. Dr. Saffet Babür of Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Klaus Mainzer of TU Munich, Prof. Dr. Elisabeth de Sotelo from the University of Koblenz/Berlin and Prof. Dr. Barry Smith of SUNY Buffalo will also offer brief remarks.
