Here is a translation of HE's explanation of DreamFest League Battle system
-DreamFest League Battles
The DreamFest leagues are set up so that there are 20 ranks, beginning from 1 and ending with 20. When you get to 100 league points within a league, you "league up" to the next league. When you first reach a new league, you'll receive a "league up bonus.
The league you are in will determine which "DreamFest Special Competition" (which they are planning to start later) you participate in.
-How to Participate in League Battles
Go to the DreamFest screen (like you used to for normal DreamFests), and hit the DreamFest League button (the top of the two buttons on the right).
DreamFest League Battles cost 1 LP each to participate in, but every day you can participate in 5 battles without paying any LP. The free League Battles you have reset every day at 4AM JST.
-League Points and League Movement
As you participate in DreamFest Battles, depending on the results of your battle, the points you receive will change.
Upon winning: In Leagues 1-5, you get +20 points. In Leagues 6-20, you get +10 points.
Upon losing: In all Leagues, you lose -10 points.
As a bonus for winning consecutive battles, in all Leagues, when you win three battles in a row and for every consecutive win thereafter, you will gain double points.
When you reach 100 league points, you "League Up, and your points in the next league will be set at 30.
When you hit the top League (currently 20), your league points will be capped at 100 and cannot exceed 100.
If your league points fall below 0, you will "League Down" and be placed in the League one tier lower than your prior League. Your league points in your new, lower League will be set at 70.
However, for Leagues 1-10, even if your League points hit 0, you will not "League Down." (So "League Down" only happens if you are in Leagues 11-20)
-DreamFest Battle Victory Bonuses and League Up Bonuses
When you win in a DreamFest Battle, there is a certain percentage chance to gain YumeCoins. When you League Up, you can get a League Up Bonus for the FIRST time you League Up.
-YumeCoins
The YumeCoins you get from winning DreamFest Battles and from League Up bonuses are to be used in the YumeCoin Shop. Right now, YumeCoins can only be used to purchase "Only Your Stars!" which can be set as background music for your My Room and for any idol boy you wish to set it for (There is now a "BGM" tab below "Background" in the "Change Outfit" menu for each boy).
Later, they plan to add more music from past events as well as unit songs as choices for BGMs. For "Only Your Stars!" and the unit songs, the songs ingame will be 90 second versions.
You can preview a few seconds of the song in the YumeCoin Shop without buying it.
