There was a precious view of New York City that was practically just Peter's. He'd been through a lot of costumes, he was definitely in his most radical look right now. But when he was pushing forty and Spider-Man had been protecting the city for over 20 years, it could have been worse. The symbol was still one of hope.

His new mask contained robotic lenses, it helped his sight over the city with zoom features and other great gadgets. It also showed emotion which helped when cracking jokes and looking more menacing, kids loved it too! But his bright white spider on his chest was definitely the most controversial change... But he had to change the suit eventually.

He watched the sunset wondering what Gwen was up to. He missed her, it felt like a long time since he'd seem her but it was only a couple of hours. Work had got more in the way of them since they weren't teenagers anymore. And being Spider-Man hardly paid the bills especially at New York rates. He was grateful for what Gwen actually put up... She was a big help, he needed her for sure and he really should show her how much he appreciates her...

He decided he'd pick her up a present before he came back, so he quickly swung through the city to go do that, he didn't do anything spectacular for her recently, she deserved it. As he made his way back, he wondered if she was okay...
